The only stored information is what you choose in the popup:
brand categories, materials and language. It stays in
chrome.storage.local on your device and is deleted
when you uninstall the extension.
The extension makes no network requests of its own, has no backend, loads no remote code and includes no tracking, telemetry or analytics.
When you open the popup and click "Apply filters" or "Reset", EcoChineur reads the active tab URL only to check that it is a Vinted catalog page and to build, on your device, a new URL that keeps your existing filters. The tab then navigates to that URL. The URL is never stored or sent anywhere.
The "Suggest a brand" link opens the project's public GitHub issue form in a new tab. Submitting it requires a GitHub account, and GitHub's privacy policy applies there.
